The Battery Compartment

To open the battery compartment door, turn
its latch a quarter-turn counterclockwise and
swing the door open.

•

Inspect the four battery contacts on the
inside of the door (Figure 13). If any
corrosion is seen, clean it off with a
pencil eraser.
