Additional Health & Safety for High
Filtration Dust Extractors
12
• Do not switch the head unit ‘ON’ unless it is attached to the collection drum or body unit.
The centrifugal force created by the motor will cause the head to rotate very quickly and
can cause serious personal injury.
• If the machine becomes hot during use this means the filters are blocked and need to be
cleaned. Any damage to the machine caused by blocked filters will not be covered under
warranty.
7. The elimination or control of risks from wood dust is required by the ‘Health & Safety at
Work etc. Act 1974’, the ‘Provision & Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998’ and the
‘Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) Regulations 2002’. We recommend
that you study and follow these regulations.
