- INSTALLATION
4.1 Starting
See the Power 12 Use and Maintenance Manual
•
Remove the battery (2) and the backpack (4) from the packing and fix the battery onto the backpack.
•
Check that the Power 12 ON/OFF switch is OFF (position OFF – picture D).
•
Connect the power supply cable (1) with the battery and the power unit, checking the proper male/female connections.
Use the anti-proof device for a proper connector insertion.

- USE OF THE TOOL
5.1 Starting the tool

WARNING!
•
Use the tool only for the aims described in chapter “Product description”. Any other use may cause injuries.
•
Wear the backpack (4) and adjust the belt length by using the buckle (picture A).
•
The backpack (4) shall be positioned in such a way that 90% of its weight is supported by the operator’s hips
instead of by his back. The braces supplied (picture A) can be used to improve the weight balancing (10%).
5.2 Stopping the tool
See the Power 12 Use and Maintenance Manual.
5.3 Battery re-charging
•
Put the battery-charger (3) in a dry, well-aired, not humid room, at a temperature between 15 °C and 25 °C and away from
flammable materials.
•
Insert the plug of the power supply cable of the battery-charger (3) into the electric outlet, being careful to check that it
complies with the EN60204 1 regulations.
•
When the battery-charger (3) is being supplied, the LED lights are on (see ch. 6 “Battery-charger”). Connect the battery-
charger (3) with the battery (2) connector, making the right male/female connections and using the anti-proof device to
check the connectors for proper plugging.
•
The battery recharge will stop automatically when the battery cells (2) are completely charged. This is indicated by the
LED lights (see the scheme below).
•
The battery (2) recharging time depends on the cells capacity and the residual charge. It can last from 5 to 10 hours
Before using the battery (2) for the first time in the work season, charge it up.

It is not possible to recharge the battery by means of a battery-charger which is not the one supplied by CAMPAGNOLA
S.r.l. This would damage the device and could be dangerous for people.
