2 - SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
2.2 Use
•
The tool shall be used for the purposes described in par. ‘Product Description’ only. Other uses could cause injuries and/
or damages.
•
Before using the battery (2) for the first time in the work season, make a complete recharge cycle.
•
Do not leave the tool in the rain. Keep it in a dry place.
•
Do not leave the battery (2) under the sun rays or close to microwave sources. Do not subject it to hits or high pressures.
•
Do not put it into the water or leave it in a humid place. Keep it away from heat sources (>60°C) and from flammable
materials.
•
Only use the battery-charger (3) supplied by CAMPAGNOLA S.r.l. Another one could cause serious damages to the tool
and injuries to the user.
•
Only use the battery (2) supplied by CAMPAGNOLA S.r.l. Others could cause serious damages to the tool and injuries to
the user.
•
Never open the battery (2) and the battery-charger (3). Do not use them in case of faults. Take them to an authorized
•
CAMPAGNOLA S.r.l. service point.
•
Do not remove the WARRANTY label for any reason, since the warranty would become void.
•
It is advisable that two operators alternate (one work and one rest hour), since a prolonged use of the tool could be
excessively tiring for the same user.
2.3 Maintenance
•
Special maintenance and repairs can be carried out only by a service mechanic in an authorized service point.
•
Keep bystanders away when servicing or repairing the machine.

- SPECIFICATIONS
3.1 Product identification
The tool identification details are indicated on the battery-charger (3) and in the CE compliance certificate in this manual.
3.2 Product description
The power units Energy 12-6 operate the electro-mechanical, harvesting tools. They are fitted with a battery (2), a battery
charger (3), a backpack (4) and a connecting cable (1).
Two versions are available: Energy 6, with 12 V battery, 240 W, and Energy 12, with 12 V battery, 480 W
The battery voltage (Ampere/hour) determines the work duration only.
The power supplying unit is fitted with a battery (2) with Lithium cells, operating the whole tool. An electronic card in the battery
controls the battery status (charged/flat) in order to improve performance and quality.
The battery is located in a shell (picture A) and is hooked to a backpack with shoulder straps (4), worn by the operator. A quick-
hooking belt system allows to replace the battery in a fast and easy way when it is flat. The battery-charger (3) allows to
recharge the battery in about 10 hours. An optional battery & battery-charger kit is available to double the tool autonomy.
IMPORTANT
The best battery autonomy performance can be reached after the first 20 working hours.
