- MAINTENANCE
6.1 Routine maintenance
WARNING!
•
Before any routine maintenance operations, turn the selector (19) anti-clockwise and put the selector (8)
in position 0 to switch both off.
•
All maintenance operations which are not dealt with in this manual shall only be carried out by
Authorized Service Points.
Ordinary maintenance operations can be carried out by the operators.
6.1.1 General
Before any ordinary maintenance operation:
• Turn the selector (25) anti-clockwise and put the selector (8) in position 0 to switch both off.
• Wear protective gloves.
IMPORTANT!
6.1.2 Blade sharpening
•
After the first ½ hour of use, re-sharpen the cutting blade (14) with the stone supplied.
•
Every 3 hours of use, sharpen the blade (14) cutting edge slightly.
•
To carry out a perfect blade sharpening:
a) Keep a sharpening angle of 45° from the cutting blade (14)
b) Follow the cutting edge from the inner to the outer part
c) Repeat the operation 8/9 times
WARNING!
Do not sharpen neither the anvil (16) nor the rear part of the cutting blade (14).
