To change the Adjustable Fulcrum head
position, pull axially on the head and then
rotate clockwise or counterclockwise. Use
the diagrams below to correctly position
the Adjustable Fulcrum and Compression/
Distractor Actuator for the desired effect.
The scallops on the towers are the bearing surfaces and pivot locations for the compression and
distraction functions. The elliptical head of the Adjustable Fulcrum and arms of the Compression/
Distraction Actuator will orient in the tower scallops. The most effective compression and
distraction is achieved with the instruments working as close to the rod as possible, or as anterior
as possible. One of the screws must be provisionally tightened or locked to perform compression
or distraction. This can be achieved prior to the tower insertion, or through the towers using the
T30 Screwdriver, ¼” QC.
