5. Check bolts and screws
Check that all the screws are properly tightened and check the lifting device attachment hooks.
In case of damage or loose bolts/screws, replace/tighten them.
Check that fork locking pins and end bar keepers are installed and functional.
Check sample of baseplate cap screws for proper torque value.
Check sample of bearing cap screws for proper torque value.
Tighten lower mounting hook cap screws – 165 Nm.
Inspect forks, carriage bars and frame for cracks and wear.
Replace components as required.
Fork bar – if equipped, tighten cap screws to: ISO 2 A , 145 Nm
Can be done by the user.
After completing any maintenance service procedure, always test the attachment through five
complete cycles.
First, test without the load, then test with a load to make sure the attachment operates
correctly before returning to service.
6. Lubrication
Perform a complete lubrication, grease the points indicated in the figure below. Grease the contact
area with fork (sliding blocks)
Can be done by the user.
Do not use grease containing molybdenum disulphide for lubrication.
7. Check the wear pads
Check the wear of the jack seals and replace them if necessary.
May only be done by a qualified service technician and according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
