IMPORTANT
It’s recommended to use certified materials, designed and endorsed for this type of
installation according to the characteristics and required temperatures.
Important Points for the Installation.
•
Not using a well calibrated relief valve or an air tube could result in excess water
pressure in the system, which could damage the installation and the heater.
•
The cold-water inlet connection is indicated with a blue plug, and the hot water
outlet connection has a red plug.
•
Under no circumstances must the relief valve be removed, nor its correct operation
be canceled in the closed system; and the air tube installation must not be omitted
at the hot water outlet in the open system. Otherwise, an excessive water pressure
increase could damage the installations or the heater. This damage is considered
out of warranty and invalidates it, being an outside cause.
•
To fill the heater, open the supply valve on the cold-water supply pipe. Open a
hot water tap slowly (preferably the shower) to allow air to exit the heater and
the pipe. A continuous water flow at the hot water tap indicates that the heater
is full of water.
