This water heater should be installed inside or in enclosed spaces, because it
does not require ventilation.
•
If it is installed outside, the heater requires protection against the rain, preferably a
roof at a minimum of 80 cm from the heater cover. If the heater is not protected
from the rain, this could damage the equipment and the electrical installation,
rendering the warranty void.
•
The heater must be perfectly fixed to avoid movement during earthquakes and/
or tremors, in order to prevent it falling from its position. It must also be protected
by a roof or niche to avoid direct contact with the rain.
•
Remove the two (2) screws that fasten the front cover on the water heater
(See
Figure.3)
and remove the front cover.
•
The surface where the heater will be installed must be solid and secure. DO NOT
install the unit over connections or electrical boxes.
•
Place the heater on the surface where it will be installed. Check that it is leveled.
•
Install the heater on the wall with 4 screws at least 1” (inch) / 25.4 mm long on the
marked points
(See Figure 4).
Do not install the heater in
reverse or lateral position
FIG. 2
IMPORTANT
Use screws that are suitable for the wall material and the weight of the water
heater. Otherwise, this could damage the heater and the installation, and rendering
the warranty void.
