Prepare the cabinet for placement
After removing the cable and power entry covers, secure the cabinet doors, and lift the
cabinet over the pad.
SAFETY:
Lifting the cabinet requires 4 lifting straps with a minimum length of 6 feet.
The minimum working load for each strap must be 3,000 lbs. (1361 kg).
Procedure to prepare the cabinet for placement on a pad

1.
In the splice compartment, remove the ground, and subscriber cable entry
blank plates and AC conduit tray.
2.
Close and latch the front, rear, and splice compartment doors. See the door
close procedure.
3.
Ensure the bolts for all lifting details are securely fastened.
4.
Attach lifting straps the to lifting details.
5.
Suspend the cabinet approximately 2 feet (61 cm) above the pad.
