Maintenance instructions

Clean the device and the ventilation slots with a dry, lint-free cloth. The device
is maintenance-free. However, if any faults do occur, please proceed as follows.
Fault
Action
The battery is not
being charged.
Check all connections from the Module B to the battery,
pay attention to the correct polarity. Check the fuses and
the mains connection.
The voltage of the
battery has
dropped below
1.5 volt.
Make the connection to the vehicle via the 13-pole
coupling plug. Start the motor and let it run for approx.
30 seconds. Battery voltage rises above 1.5 volt. The
charging process starts automatically.
The maximum
charging current is
not reached.
The device overheats. Ensure better ventilation of the
device.
The main switch is
not reacting.
Set the device to zero voltage: Switch off the device from
mains and unclamp the batteries. Clamp the batteries on
again and switch on the mains supply again. Operate the
main switch again.
None of the faults
described here
seems to apply.
But the device still
does not work.
