The vehicle battery (starter battery) is connected to 3-pole
green connection (fig. 3 pos 3 and fig.8). The left contact (NC)
is not used. Connect the middle contact (
+) to contact no. 10 of
the 13-pole coupling plug. Connect the right contact (
-) to
contact no. 11 of the 13-pole coupling plug.

Connect the solar cells according to the connection
diagram on Module B (fig. 3 pos. 2 and fig. 9). One or
two solar panels can be connected. Use the cables with
a cable cross section of at least 2.5 mm² for a capacity
of up to 85 watts. Take note of the solar cell
manufacturer’s recommendations for the cable cross
section. Both interior cage tension spring clamps (plus
- left, minus - right) are for the connection of solar
panel 1. Both exterior cage tension spring clamps (plus
– left, minus - right) are for the connection of solar
panel 2.
Temperature sensor connection
(optional)
In case you would like to operate Module B with a temperature sensor for the
supply battery, connect the temperature sensor plug to the 2-pole connector (fig.
3 pos. 5). If the Module B is operated together with a temperature sensor for the
supply battery, the Module B controls the charging voltage automatically
depending on the battery temperature. This ensures a particularly effective and
gentle charging process for the battery. When not using a temperature sensor,
the Module B controls the charging process as if the battery temperature was
20 °C.
