Downloading Audio Files into Multiple 8100 Units

Technical Specifications

visit us online at califone.com

Rather than manual copying audio files to each 8100 device, to put content on several mp3 players at once, a batch

file can be used to copy the appropriate audio files to each of device. Here is an example batch file to perform this

function (modify as necessary):

rem - File: CopyTo8100.bat

rem - This file assumes the first device maps as drive E:\

rem - This line deletes all the files in the base directory on the 8100 (1st unit)

del /Q E:\*

rem - This line copies all the new content files to the 8100 (1st unit)

copy C:\audio\* E:\

rem - This line deletes all the files in the base directory on the 8100 (2nd unit)

del /Q F:\*

rem - This line copies all the new content files to the 8100 (2nd unit)

copy C:\audio\* F:\

rem - This line deletes all the files in the base directory on the 8100 (3rd unit)

del /Q G:\*

rem - This line copies all the new content files to the 8100 (3rd unit)

copy C:\audio\* G:\

etc...
