c. After the download is complete, Air Tap the Restart now button to complete the
installation.

restarting and installing software, you may connect the HoloLens to power.
DO NOT place the HoloLens 2 upside-down.
d. Repeat all steps listed in Step 1 and steps a through c listed here in Step 2 until there are
no more HoloLens 2 operating system updates to download and install.
e. Air Tap the X in the upper-right corner of the window to close.
Step 3: Download HoloLens 2 Updates from
Microsoft Store
To download HoloLens 2 application updates from the Microsoft Store:
a. Use the Summon Menu gesture to open the Start menu.
b. Air Tap the Microsoft Store icon.
c. Air Tap the See More icon (three horizontal dots) near the upper-right corner of the
Microsoft Store window.
d. Air Tap Downloads and updates .
e. Air Tap the Get updates button.

Note: It may take a few minutes for the available updates to be displayed and
downloaded. If there are no updates, it will indicate, “You’re good to go.”
f. Air Tap the See More icon again. Select My Library .
