As weld cools use a clean, dry cloth to wipe excess material from the hot tip.
CLEAN HEATING TIP
BETWEEN EVERY WELD. DO NOT SCRATCH ITS TEFLON COATING.

After approximately five minutes, remove the belt from the welder.

Using the special flat-edged flash cutters

, trim excess material from around the weld area.
NOTE:
These flash cutters are not standard diagonal cutters and should only be used for trimming the belt.
