GPS Sensor
The 2050 GPS sensor can be mounted to a flat surface using the four screw slots shown in
Figure 7. In environments with high vibration, shock absorbers suitable for 1.8kg (4lbs)
should be considered.

The 2050 can be installed in a backpack for mobile surveying applications.
The sensor should not be placed in a confined space or where it may be exposed to
excessive heat, moisture or humidity.
Note – There are no user serviceable parts inside the 2050 GPS sensor. Undoing the four screws, which
secure the front end plate, and the four securing the rear end plate will void the equipment warranty.
