14. Traveling with the Device
1.
Only use the BEYOND Medical carrying case when transporting the device
and accessories. The device should never be placed in checked baggage.
2.
This device operates on power supplies of between100 - 240 V and 50 / 60 Hz.
It can be used in any country in the world, no special adjustments are necessary.
However, you will need to find out what type of power sockets are standard in

Security Check Points:
For convenience at security check points, there is a
note on the bottom of the device stating that it is medical equipment. It may be
helpful to bring this manual along with you to help security personnel better
understand the device.
Empty the water tank of the humidifier and allow it to dry completely
before packing the device for your trip. This will prevent any remaining water
from entering into the device.
Be sure to use the device at the proper elevation setting, failure to do so
could result in airflow pressures different than the prescribed setting. Always
verify both your actual elevation and the device’s elevation setting when
using the device in a different location.
If the device is used when the atmospheric pressure is outside of the
stated range (See Section 9), the accuracy of the leakage alert will be
negatively affected.
