5.7 Refuelling
• Use only unleaded petrol with recom

• Do not use fuels containing a high con

centration of alcohol, oil-petrol mixture
or contaminated or lapsed petrol.
• Avoid getting dust or water in the fuel
tank.
5.8 Engine running-in
To increase the durability of the vehicle dur

ing the first 1.000 kilometres consider these
recommendations:
• Avoid prolonged full-throttle operation or
overheat the engine.
• Avoid sudden braking and handling of
your vehicle.
5.9 Fuel Consumption
In order to minimize fuel consumption, con

sider the following recommendations:
• Avoid over-rev the engine during accel

eration.
• Stop the engine during long stops (traf

fic lights, jams...).
• Check the tyre pressure periodically
• Avoid harsh braking and acceleration,
anticipate to traffic.
• Avoid unnecessary loads.
• Do not accelerate when starting your
vehicle, in addition to unnecessary fuel
consumption can cause excessive wear
of engine parts.
