Mounting / removing the accessory equipment
When mounting / removing the accessory equipment, observe
the additional information provided in chapter "General safety
instructions", starting on page 20.
Check the accessory equipment for any obvious defects every
time you mount / remove the accessory equipment! In this
connection, observe the chapter "Responsibilities of the
operator", starting on page 12.
WARNING
Risks of personal injury from crushing may arise if the tractor
starts up and rolls away inadvertently while the accessory
equipment is being coupled or uncoupled!
Secure the tractor with the mounted accessory from unintended start-
up and rolling away before allowing anyone to enter the danger area
between tractor and accessory equipment.
7.1
Mounting the accessory equipment
WARNING
Dangerous situations may arise from improper use of the tractor
if the fitted accessory equipment causes the tractor to become
unstable or to no longer steer and brake properly!
Mount the accessory equipment only to suitable tractors. Refer to
chapter "Checking the suitability of the tractor" in this regard.
WARNING
Risks of personal injury from crushing and impact may arise if
individuals are situated between tractor and accessory
equipment while the accessory equipment is being coupled!
Ask anyone in the danger area between tractor and accessory
equipment to leave before driving the tractor up to the accessory
equipment.
Any assistants present may only help the driver steer the tractor while
standing next to tractor and accessory equipment.
WARNING
Risks of personal injury from crushing, cutting, entrapment and
impact may arise if the accessory equipment detaches from the
tractor by accident!
Observe the permissible drawbar load of the connecting
equipment.
Use and secure the designated devices used to link tractor and
accessory equipment as intended.
WARNING
Risks of personal injury from crushing and impact may arise if
the accessory equipment starts moving unexpectedly while fitted
to the tractor!
The lower links must be engaged in such a way that the
accessory equipment cannot shift to the sides too vehemently.
