CAUTION: This unit can be used in extreme cold weather. However, when the unit is brought back into a warm environment,

accumulated on the internal circuitry of the unit.
Using thE inFRARED (iR) iLLUMinAtoR
Your Equinox Night Vision offers a built-in Infrared Illuminator

. This allows you to see even in complete
darkness where no ambient light source, such as moonlight, is available. To activate, simply press the

indicates that the Illuminator is on. The IR
Illuminator beam features an adjustable coverage angle. To narrow the beam, turn the IR Illuminator Hood

counterclockwise and pull forward. To make the beam wider, push the IR Illuminator Hood

back and
turn it clockwise.
FoCUsing
Direct the unit at an object at a distance of approximately 100 yards and rotate the Eyepiece Ring

to
give the best image quality for your eyesight. After making this adjustment, it should not be necessary to
change the setting of the eyepiece unless it is moved accidently. You will use just the Objective Lens Ring

to focus on objects at different distances. Direct the unit at the subject to be viewed and adjust the final
focus by rotating the Objective Lens Ring

until the image appears as sharp as possible.
