CLI type
(
0#5240

(Caller ID) scheme used by the unit to that used by your service
provider. CLI presents the caller’s phone number and name (if
there’s a match in your phonebook) plus the date and time for
display on the attached telephone.
Note: The time displayed on landline calls is provided by the land-
line Caller ID mechanism. Caller ID from incoming mobile calls
use the unit’s internal clock. To avoid the confusion of different
times, it is recommended that you
to the correct time
using menu (

).

opportunity to accept or reject incoming calls after picking up
the receiver. The display will show
‘Accept? 01234 567890’
or will
show a name, if the caller is listed in the phonebook. During this
process, the caller will continue to hear a ringing tone. To accept
the call, press the

caller will hear a disconnect tone).

Break’ signalling method. This option allows you to extend the end
of call break time (
disconnect clear time
) from 275mS to 800mS.
This is necessary when used with Asterisk PBX equipment.
•
Call progress announce
(
0#5290
) - When enabled, this option
generates audible progress announcements when making calls
via the mobile connection. Once dialling has completed, the an-
nouncement “Please wait for your call to be connected” will be
played. If the call cannot be connected for a temporary reason
(e.g. number busy), the announcement “Your call cannot be con-
nected at the moment, please try again later” is played. If there
is another reason, the announcement “Your call cannot be con-
nected at the moment” will be played.
