Channel
Select the channel for configuration here
Smart Codec
The extended standards H.264+ and H.265+ are referred to as Smart Codec.
Depending on the settings, you can activate the + option on compatible devices
and thus save bandwidth and storage space.
Compression
Select the codec with which the stream is to be retrieved from the camera. For
newer devices, the powerful H.265(+) is recommended.
Resolution
Resolution of the camera stream. Among other things, the available frame rate
depends on this.
Frame rate
Number of frames per second (BPS/FPS)
Bit Rate Type
Depending on the selected operating mode, the adjustable parameters change
CBR = Constant bit rate - usually for limited network capacity and constant
recording time
VBR = Variable Bit Rate - usually for jumping data rates when storage space is
limited and network capacity is sufficient.
Quality
Assumes VBR as the selected bitrate type

Bitrate (Kbps)
Stream bit rate in Kbps. The higher the better the picture quality
