Vehicle number plate recognition
You can set up a car licence plate recognition camera in this menu. Furthermore, entries in
the blacklist and whitelist can be added, edited or deleted under "Database".
Setting up the number plate recognition
Activate the function
Assign a name for the application and draw the detection line and detection area in
the live image displayed.
Then specify which actions are to be triggered when a licence plate is recognised.
Save the settings by clicking on "Apply".
Note: Test the settings during the day and night and make any necessary
adjustments.
The blacklist and whitelist are set up under "Database".
In the "B&W List" submenu, indicators can be added to the blacklist and whitelist.
Enter the indicators without hyphens or teaching marks.
Note: No guarantee can be given for correctly recognised number plates. Scene,
lighting conditions, dirt and grime etc. can greatly influence the evaluation.
If you set the view mode to "Vehicle number plate", you can display the list of the
last/currently recognised number plates in the live image.
