Precautions regarding locations of usage, power, etc.
• Do not use near telephones, televisions or radios. This device uses communication via electromagnetic waves
(Wi-Fi, Bluetooth). If used near common telephones, televisions or radios it may have a negative efect, there-
fore use as far away as possible.
• Do not place near air conditioner outlets. Sudden temperature change may result in condensation and internal
corrosion, causing damage.
• Do not use this device in near proximity to objects with a magnetic ield. Doing so could result in erroneous
operations.
• Do not subject this device under strain. If this device is placed in a heavily packed bag, etc., it could result in
damage of the display or internal printed circuit board, malfunctions, etc. Also, if this device is placed in a bag
with an externally connected device still inserted in the external connection port or headphones still in the ear-
phone port, it could result in connector damage or malfunction.

Precautions when operating the touchscreen
• Do not press the touchscreen too hard with your inger or sharp objects (ingernails, ball pens, pins, etc.). Doing
so could result in damage. The touchscreen is designed to be touched lightly with the inger.
• Do not make unauthorized changes to the basic software (Android OS) . Doing so could be used as a reason to
refuse repairs if it is seen as a software modiication.

Precautions when using the microSD card
• Do not remove the microSD card when it is in use (writing, reading, etc.) or turn of this device’s power. Doing so
could result in data being erased or malfuntioning.

Battery & Charging
• If this device is used while being charged, it may take longer to become fully charged or it may not fully charge.
• This device or the AC adaptor may heat up during charging but this is not abnormal. If this device becomes hot,
charging may cease temporarily for the sake of safety. Cease use immediately if this device becomes too hot.
• If charging of this device begins from a battery empty state, it may not start up immediately when it is turned
on. In such a case, charge with the power of and wait a while before turning power on.
• The built-in battery is a consumable item. Each time it is charged, the length of time it can be used in one go
shortens. If the length of time it can be used shortens to around half of when it was irst purchased, this is indi-
cation that the built-in battery’s life is close to expiring, so we recommend replacement early on. Please contact
our support center regarding replacement of the built-in battery.

Using electromagnetic waves
• Turn of this device’s power in places where its use is prohibited such as onboard aircraft, inside hospitals, etc. It
may have a negative efect on electronic devices or electrical medical equipment.
• Observe the instructions of individual medical institutions regarding use of the table. If you use pacemakers or
other electrical medical equipment, conirm the efects of electromagnetic waves with the electrical medical
equipment manufacturer or store of purchase.
• You will be punished by law if you use this device in a prohibited manner such as onboard an aircraft, etc. How-
ever, if it can be used on an aircraft by setting it to light mode in which electromagnetic waves are not emitted,
do so in accordance with the airline’s instructions.

Handling near electrical medical equipment.
The contents of this manual comply with the “Policies related to usage of mobile phone devices, etc., in order to pre-
vent signals from efecting electrical medical equipment” (Electromagnetic Compatibility Conference Japan).
Warning: Use the device observing the following when at medical institutions.
• Do not take this device into operating rooms, intensive care units (ICU) or coronary care units (CCU).
• Turn this device of in hospital wards.
• Turn this device of even if close to electrical medical equipment such as in lobbies, etc.
• If the medical institution you are visiting has rules on items forbidden for use or possession, etc., follow the
instructions of that medical institution.
• Turn this device of in crowded places such as packed trains, etc., as someone nearby may have an implantable
cardiac pacemaker or implantable cardio-verter deibrillator.
• The electromagnetic waves may have a negative effect on implantable cardiac pacemakers or implantable
