Setting up the bullx blade system for remote access via the
CHC
From a computer in the site LAN, access the Chassis Hardware Console. Following are the
choices for CHC IP address configuration:
•
Static IP address
•
Automatic address by DHCP server
•
Automatic address by BOOTP server
The default is auto-configuration with DHCP server. To facilitate the sort of the MAC
addresses received from different components or providers, the CHC frames destined to the
DHCP server are tagged as “BULL_Chassis_CMC” specifically. The configuration can be
modified through the serial access of the CHC (COM connector of the CMM panel).
CHC firmware interfaces
The software interfaces supported by the CHC are:

SNMP V3
•
IPMI V2.0
•
WEB GUI
•
SMASH/CLP
