TARGET
: number of yarn meters to collect. When
reaching the Target, the position will stop and a
signal will be sent through the Stop output. Once the
Target is reached, the counter will be reset either
manually or automatically depending on the
RESET
AUTO
parameter setting in the
ADV window
.
The
TARGET
can be programmed from1 to9999999,
or it can be disabled.

DELAY START
:
This function allows you to set the
minimum variation frequency above which the
sensor indicates a stroke detection. The sensor,
through a wrap around buffer covering a time
interval of 5ms, constantly check that within the last
5ms the number of image variations occurred is at
least equal to the value set through the DELAY
START parameter. It can be programmed with a
value ranging between 01 (
minimum frequency
) and
10 (
maximum frequency
).
DELAY COUNT
:
the time interval (
delay
) during
which the sensor’s counter, after a stroke count,
remains forcibly disabled to avoid double or false
counts. Usually the
DELAY COUNT
parameter
should be programmed according to the collection
speed, with a value corresponding to 50% of the
time interval between two strokes (
stroke frequency
).
It may range between 1ms and 100ms.
SENSITIVITY
:
sensor’s sensitivity level depending on the
type of yarn. It can be programmed with a value ranging
between 01 (
minimum sensitivity
) and 10 (
maximum
sensitivity
).
DELAY STOP
:
This function allows you to adapt the
sensor to the yarn characteristics, by defining the
sensor reaction time before ignalling a failure in
case of yarn not running. It can be programmed with
values ranging between 5 ms and 5000 ms
according to the following sequences: 5ms – 10ms –
20ms – 50ms – 100ms – 200ms – 500ms – 1000ms-
2000ms- 5000ms.
CORRECTION
:
This function allows you to correct
possible systematic errors related to the article (
title,
weight, etc
.). The correction factor may range from -
25.0% to +25.0% with 0.1% resolution.
RECOVERY
:
for automatic re-knotting machines.
This function allows you to either add or subtract a
fixed number of meters for every breakage, in order
to compensate the amount of yarn drawn from the
bobbin already wound or subtracted from the
counted value. The parameter may range from -
100.0 m to +100.0 m, with 0.1 meter resolution.
