You will not be able to receive
text messages until you have
first sent a message. The first
message sent registers you with
the text service.
If the Inbox is empty,
No
Messages
will be displayed.
For quick access to the
messaging Inbox, press
RIGHT
navigation button from standby
mode.
Receiving and reading text
messages
Messages are stored in the Inbox. When you
receive a new text message, the
symbol will
be displayed and you will hear the new message
alert beeps.
1. Press
RIGHT
navigation button to go directly to
the Messaging Inbox from standby mode.
Continue to point 3.
Or
Press
MENU
to open the main menu.
2. Press
UP
or
DOWN
navigation button until
Text
Messaging
is displayed and select
OK
.
If you have not set up any user areas continue to point 4
.

If you have set up personal user areas
, press
UP
or
DOWN
to highlight the user area you want and
select
OK
. Enter your Mailbox PIN code and select
OK
.

UP
or
DOWN
until
Inbox
is displayed and
select
OK
.
5. The first (newest) message details are highlighted.
The caller’s name (if a phonebook match is found),
number and the date and time their message was
received are displayed.
6. Press
UP
or
DOWN
to scroll and highlight the
message you want and then select
Read
to view
the message.

When viewing a message:
Select
Options
, then use
UP
or
DOWN
to scroll
and select any of the following options:

Clear
to delete an
incorrect digit.
If you select the General
Mailbox, you will not be
required to enter a PIN code.

(unread) the

be displayed on the standby
screen.

button to move through
the message.

to return to the
