Answer delay
Answer delay sets the number of seconds your BT
Reveal will ring for before the answer machine picks
up your call and starts playing the outgoing message.
You can change this setting to between 5 and 30
seconds (in 5 second intervals) or select ‘time
saver’. The default setting is 20 seconds.
To change the answer delay setting
1. Press
MENU
to open the main menu.
2. Press UP or DOWN navigation button until Answer
Machine
is displayed and select
OK
.
3. Press UP or DOWN until Answer Settings is
highlighted.
4. Press DOWN until Answer Delay setting
is highlighted.
5. Use LEFT or RIGHT to select the answer delay
setting you require (i.e. 10 seconds) and
select
Save .
6. Press to exit and return to standby.
To switch message alert on/off
1. Press
MENU
to open the main menu.
2. Press UP or DOWN navigation button until Answer
Machine
is displayed and select
OK
.
3. Press UP or DOWN until Answer Settings is
highlighted and select
OK
.
4. Press DOWN until Message Alert Setting
is highlighted .

The message alert is an audible
beep that sounds every 10
seconds when you have
received a new message.
