If you have subscribed to a Caller Display Service,
you will be able to see your caller’s number on
your handset display (provided it is not withheld)
prior to answering the call.
If your caller’s name and number are stored in the
phonebook and a name/number match is found,
you will see the caller’s name on the display
instead of the number.
Calls list
Your BT Reveal has 3 types of calls lists:
Missed Calls (calls that were not answered);
Received Calls (all calls that have been received,
whether answered or not) and;
Dialled Calls (calls that have been made).
See
page 20.
The Received Calls list holds up to 50 telephone
numbers and they are stored in the order they
were received. The Missed Calls list is a sub-list of
the Received Calls list.
If a new call is received when a calls list is full, the
oldest entry will be deleted automatically.
When there are new/un-viewed missed calls the
icon will be displayed and the Power/In Use
light on the base will flash.
To ensure that the caller’s
name is displayed, make sure
you have stored the full
number, including the dialling
code in the phonebook.
It may take a couple of seconds
for the display to show the
telephone number or name for
an incoming call. The displays
will initially display
External
Call
followed by the number.
