Characteristic Impedance Test
The tester calculates the characteristic impedance of the cable based on the TDR method. However, contrary to the TDR test in Section 6,
this test uses a step signal.

Connector used for testing. To change the connector, press
; then the test is conducted on ‘BNC’

‘1-2 (RJ45)’

Characteristic impedance. It is calculated on the position of Cursor2; therefore, it should be located within the cable length.

Distance (between Cursor1 and Cursor2) or VOP. To swap them, press

Cursor1 and Cursor2. To move them, use with its mode set to “CURSOR1” and “CURSOR2” respectively. (See Section 8.6)
