PS-8810
DIGITAL SIGNAL PROCESSOR
The Control Port provides a means for external monitoring and
control of ‘objects’ within the BSS PS-8810. It can be used to turn
peripherals on and off, send signals to other system components,
receive digital and/or analogue signals from other components,
and indicate status of the input gates.
The Control Port implements sixteen outputs and sixteen inputs
along with power supply outputs and common grounds.
Eight of the outputs are digital ‘logic outs’, while the other eight
are analogue outputs that are capable of digital ‘logic outs’.
Eight of the inputs (AIN1-8) are capable of monitoring digital and
analogue external signals.
The other eight inputs (DIN1-8) are digital only.
17.0 Control Port
