FIGURE ONE
Step #1:
Position the four rails upside down in their
respective locations on a protected surface as shown.
Step #2:
Fit the molded rubber corner miter to the end
of the rail conforming to the radius of the rail and flush
with the top of the rail. Attach with two round head
nails. Attach one molding at each corner.

Step #3.
Position a tie plate as shown.
Step #4:
Using the remaining four outer holes in the tie
plate as a template, pilot drill 1/8" diameter holes into the
rail, approximately 3/4" deep.
Step #5:
Fasten the tie plate securely to the rails at
these four locations with pan head crosss recessed self
tapping screws #8 x 1/2".
Step #6:
Into each rail, thread three, 3/8-16 threaded
machine studs. Tighten securely then back off 1/2 turn.
