If so, check module ground wire .
Otherwise, check supply wire from battery to
module.
Reinstall removed parts.
Hi Beam Lamp (European models)
First ensure hi beam headlamps work. If so, con-
tinue testing. Otherwise, refer to
HEADLAMP .
Use a multimeter and set it to Vdc.
Measure voltage at lamp socket as follows.

HI BEAM LAMP SOCKET
WIRES VOLTAGE
BLUE
Battery
ground
Battery voltage
If battery voltage is present, check socket ground
wire.
If there is no voltage, check supply wire of socket.
Reinstall removed parts.
Turn signal Lamp (European models)
Use a multimeter and set it to Vdc.
Measure voltage at lamp socket as follows.

TURN SIGNAL LIGHT SOCKET TURN

SWITCH
POSITION
WIRES VOLTAGE
Left ORANGE
Right
LIGHT
BLUE
Battery
ground
Pulsating
battery voltage
If battery voltage is present, check socket ground
wire.
If there is no voltage, check supply wire of socket
from hazard control module. If it is good, replace
hazard module.
Reinstall removed parts.
Hazard Lamp (European models)
Refer to TURN SIGNAL LAMP above. The same
tests apply. The difference is that both lamps blink
simultaneously.
Lamp Replacement
Remove steering cover. Refer to STEERING AND
FRONT SUSPENSION .
Pull lamp out.
Install new lamp.
Reinstall lamp.
Validate lamp works.
