Insert the VR spacer into the tape sensor PCB ASSY while aligning the spacer with
the wall of the tape sensor PCB ASSY as shown in Fig. 27.
Note: Insert the VR spacer until it hits the head ASSY slightly. If inserting the
spacer more, the head ASSY may be damaged.

Check that the value which has been written down in Step (4) is not changed.
Note: If the value is changed substantially, the tape sensor PCB ASSY may be
defect.
