Adjust the paper 
guides to fit the width 
of your pages.

Setting the Special Media Lever

You can use the special media lever to select the Regular Position (

) or Special Position (

).

To feed regular types of documents, move the special media lever to the Regular Position (

). 

You can feed multiple pages.

To feed special types of documents (such as thin paper, thick paper, coated paper or glossy paper), 
move the special media lever to the Special Position (

). Feed the document one by one. It will 

allow the document to feed through the ADF without slipping or jamming.

If you want to use thick papers and slippery papers, adjust the thickness lever 
of paper.

If the original “double-feeds” try again by inserting a simple sheet of document 
in the ADF or use glass platen.
