Adjustment

Presser bar height and parallelism adjustment

1. Attach J presser foot.

2. Turn the power on.

3. Turn the pulley by hand until the feed dog is lower than needle plate A.

4. Loosen the set screw (CP, M5X10) securing the presser bar clamp assembly.

5. Adjust the height of the presser bar so that the clearance between the top of needle plate A and the bottom of the

presser is 7.0 - 7.5 mm.

NOTE

• Use the J foot.
• Adjust the presser bar so that the needle plate feed dog hole is parallel to the presser.
