This scale is NOT intended to be used by pregnant women . The result is inaccurate 

and possible effects on the fetus are unknown .

inTended use

This scale is intended to measure body weight and impedance, and to estimate 

the percentage of body fat, body water, bone mass and muscle mass using BIA 
(Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis) . It is intended for use by healthy children (10-

17 years old) and healthy adults for body composition assessment in the home 

environment . For body fat and body water estimates, always estimate in bare feet .

ImPOrtaNt: although the BIa method uses a safe, low level of electrical current, 
users with pacemakers or other electric medical devices or implants should not 

operate this scale.
