Installation of Reed Switch  Alarm

A. Install meter as described in Section 2-7

B. For Factory Mutual Approved installations and for CSA/NRTL/C

  Certified installations, refer to Figures 2-4 and 2-5. On the system 

printed circuit board is a three terminal block marked “Alarm Circuit”. 

The middle terminal is marked “Alarm In”. This terminal is common for 

both high alarm and low alarm applications. A circuit is completed by 

connecting wires to “Alarm In” and to either “HI” for high flow alarm or 

“LO” for low flow alarm. Wires used should be in the range from 12 to 

20 AWG. Remove 0.3 inches of insulation before inserting the wire into 

the terminal block and tightening the screw.
