Installation Guide
To attach media to the HBA, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the cages have optical transceivers installed in them. If necessary, insert an optical transceiver into each
cage.
The following table provides a list of approved optics.
OM2 – Multimode 50/125 micrometer fiber
(500 MHz × km bandwidth cable)
2.125Gb/s: 0.5m to 300m
4.25Gb/s: 0.5m to 150m
8.5Gb/s 0.5m to 50m
