OPERATION
The switcher connection state is determined by the gain of the connection.
When the gain = -INF, the input is Disconnected. If the Gain is ≠ -INF, then the
input is Connected. Therefore, when an input is faded down, the SL command
will not return a Disconnected state until the fade completes. Similarly, when
an input is disconnected, the SL command will not return a Disconnected state
until the end of the 0.5s soft switch fade ramp.

SP[xx] Display GPI (PIP) Port Status (ACS 8.2)
Returns the current status of any one of the sixteen GPI input ports when the
unit is in GPI Mode. In Remote Mode this command returns an
EEE<CR><LF>. When ‘0’ is specified as the port range, the response uses the
same format as that of the SPA command.

Display GPI (PIP) Port Status (all) (ACS 8.2)
Returns the current status of sixteen GPI input ports when the unit is in GPI
Mode. In Remote Mode this command returns an EEE<CR><LF>. For units
with ID=0, the SPA message is automatically sent to the terminal whenever the
state of any GPI input changes.

Display Silence Sensor Status (ACS 8.2)
Returns the current status of the Output 1 and Output 2 silence sensors. For
units with ID=0, the SS message is automatically sent to the terminal whenev-
er the state of the Output 1 silence sensor changes.
