ADMS 44.22 Installation and Operation Manual
INSTALLATION
Unit ID (SW1 – SW3)
The Unit ID is assigned using the first three DIP switches according to the
following table:
When two or more units are connected to a single serial port using multi-
drop RS-232, then each unit must be assigned a unique Unit ID. Units with ID=0
automatically transmit status data to the terminal when the unit status changes (see
section 4). Units whose ID>0 do not transmit status data to the terminal; they must
be polled for status. Units configured for stand-alone operation should therefore
have their Unit ID set to 0.
Baud Rate (SW4 – SW5)
The RS-232 Baud Rate is set according to the following table:
Power Up Mode (SW6)
When the Power Up Mode switch is OFF, the User Preset is automatically recalled
whenever the unit is powered up or reset. When ON, the Last Saved settings are
recalled.
Remote/GPI Mode (SW7)
When the Remote/GPI Mode switch is OFF, the unit boots up in Remote Mode.
When ON, the unit boots up in GPI Mode.
Status/GPO Mode (SW8)
When the Status/GPO Mode switch is OFF, the unit boots up in Status Mode. When
ON, the unit boots up in GPO Mode.
