Front Panel Controls & Indicators
The ADMS 44.22 front panel LED indicators, shown in the picture below,
display of the following operational information:
OP 1 Input Connected to Output 1 [Green]
Indicates when an in input is connected to Output 1. The switcher connec-
tion state is determined by the gain of the connection. When the gain = -INF,
the input is Disconnected. If the Gain is ≠ -INF, then the input is connected.
Therefore when an input is faded down or disconnected, the OP 1/2 LEDs
will not go off until the end of the fade ramp.
On = Connected
Flashing = Dimmed
Off = Disconnected (Muted)
OP 2 Input Connected to Output 2 [Red]
Indicates when an in input is connected to Output 2. Identical in all other
respects to OP 1 LED.
Pwr/Ser
Power/Serial Activity Indicator [Green]
Indicates when the unit is powered up, and when there is serial Tx/Rx activ-
ity present at the RS-232 port.
On = Powered On
Flashing = Serial Tx/Rx Activity
PIP Activity GPI (PIP) Activity Indicator [Amber]
Indicates when any one of the 16 GPI (PIP) inputs is active. This LED is
active only in both Remote and GPI modes.
On = Any GPI Input Active
Off = No GPI Activity
SS Alarm
Silence Sensor Alarm [Red]
Indicates when the Output 1 left and/or right signal level(s) falls below the
Silence Sensor Threshold level for a period of time that exceeds the Silence
Sensor Delay. For units with ID=0, an SS status message is also sent to the
terminal whenever the Output 1 alarm status changes. The Silence Sensor
Delay can be set anywhere from 2 to 9999 seconds, and the Silence Sensor
Threshold from -24.0 to -96.0 dB.
On = Silence Detected
Off = Program Present
