SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
WARNING
Please read the follow SAFETY PRECAUTIONS carefully before installation.
Electrical work must be installed by a licensed electrician. Be sure to use the correct wiring ratings
for power and communications wiring.
Incorrect or incomplete installation or failure to adhere to these instructions may cause harm or damage.
The seriousness is classified by the following indications.
This symbol indicates the possibility of death or serious injury.
The items to be followed are classified by the symbols:
Symbol denotes item that is PROHIBITED.
CAUTION
This symbol indicates the possibility of injury or damage to property.
WARNING
1) Only qualified personnel shall undertake the installation. If the installation is defective, it may cause water or
refrigerant leaks, electrical shock or fire.
2) Install strictly in accordance with these installation instructions. If installation is defective, it may cause water
or refrigerant leaks, electrical shock or fire.
3) Use the appropriate accessories/parts and specified items for installation. Otherwise, the equipment may fall,
leak refrigerant or water, or cause electrical shock or fire.
4) Install the equipment in a strong, firm location, able to withstand the unit’s operating weight. If the installation
location is insufficient or the installation is incomplete, the equipment may fall and cause injury.
,
5) For electrical work, follow all local and national wiring standards and regulations, and in accordance with the
installation instructions. An independent circuit must be used. If the electrical circuit capacity is insufficient or
defective, it may cause electrical shock or fire.
6) Use the specified cables sizes and connect tightly. Clamp the cable so that no external force can be acted on
the terminals. If the connection or fixing is inadequate, the connections may overheat and cause fire.
7) Wiring routing must be properly arranged so that control board cover is fixed properly. If the control board
is not properly fixed, it may cause the connections to overheat and cause fire or electrical shock.
8) When carrying out piping connection, take care not to let air or other contaminants enter the refrigeration
system. Use only clean, specified refrigerant, otherwise the system will operate at a lower capacity/efficiency,
or at abnormally high pressures causing risk of explosion or injury.
9) Do not modify the length of any power supply cords or use extension cords. Do not share the power
supply with other electrical appliances. Otherwise, it may cause fire or electrical shock.
CAUTION
1) This equipment must be suitably earthed and installed with an appropriate circuit breaker. Electrical shock may
occur if the grounding is inadequate.
2) Do not install the unit in an area where leakage of flammable gases may occur. If the refrigerant leaks and
is allowed to accumulate around the unit, it may cause fire.
3) Install the condensate drain piping as per the installation instructions. If the drainage is inadequate or
incomplete, it may leak into the space and cause damage.
5)
Do not install or operate this system in a wet room such as a bathroom or laundry.
4)
The appliance shall be installed in accordance with all local and national wiring regulations.
