Assemble a #5K163
bracket to left end of seedbox. Use the holes, reinforcement plate and hardware on box. Secure
with 1/4” lock nuts. Assemble a #5K163 bracket in similar fashion on right end of seedbox.
Attach lamp assemblies to brackets with fasteners shown (amber facing forward; red and amber
facing rearward with amber above red).
Connect “wishbone” wiring harness ends to connectors on lamp assemblies.
(IMPORTANT:
wires are color coded on wishbone harness. Connect end with yellow wire to left side
lamp assembly. Connect end with green wire to right side lamp assembly)
. Run wish-
bone harness along seed box to frame and along three point hitch. (Wires can be fastened to
seedbox with the small cable ties and mounting bases. Peel fabric off these mounting bases and
stick onto smooth surfaces where required.)
Connect “straight section” wiring harness to center connector of wishbone harness. Then run this
harness over to front. All wires must be firmly attached to machine parts or frame members so
they don’t droop or become torn loose by field debris. Use plastic cable ties, provided, and
electrical tape to secure all wiring.
