Check Ball Bearings

Ball bearings must rotate freely. If any rough spots are
felt the ball bearing must be replaced. 

Remove Ball Bearings

The ball bearing is a press fit on the crankshaft. If ball
bearing is to be replaced, use an arbor press, Fig. 2, or
an axle or bearing puller, Fig. 3.
