confinedarea.Prevailingwindsandaircurrentsshouldbe

• Installtheunitwherethelocationofanyservicessuch
asphone,electrical,fuel,airconditioning,irrigation,
includingcovered,concealedandundergroundservices
willnotbeaffectedorobstructed.
• Installtheunitwhereairinletandoutletopeningswill
notbecomeobstructedbyleaves,grass,snow,etc.If
prevailingwindswillcauseblowingordrifting,youmay
needtoconstructawindbreaktoprotecttheunit.
• Installthegeneratorascloseaspossibletothe
TransferSwitchandfuelsupplytoreducethelengthof
wiring,conduit,andpiping.
