5.3 Operating the pick-up roller (manual
operation)
Prerequisites
Before switching on the pick-up roller ensure that
– the combustion engine is running.
– the dead man handle is actuated.
Switching on the pick-
up roller
To switch on the pick-up roller:

a) Press and hold the button "Attachment ON/OFF" (1).
ð The symbol "Device drive active" appears on the display
(2).
ð The pick-up roller is running.
NOTE
The twister can be operated by "quick
start" ("mowing mode") or "soft start" ("mulching
mode").
To reduce the hydraulic oil temperature, operation
with "soft start" is recommended.
