NOTE
Also observe the information in the operating
instructions of the main engine regarding coupling
and uncoupling!
Personal protective
equipment
Wear the following protective equipment for all coupling and
uncoupling work:
– Protective gloves
– Safety boots with steel toecaps
Prerequisites
Before coupling and uncoupling, make sure that
– the main engine is switched off.
– the couple pivot on the main engine and the quick-release
coupling of the attachment are free from dirt.
– the hydraulics are depressurised.

To couple the main engine and the attachment mechanically:
a) Close the quick-release lever on the main engine. Ensure that
the locking connector is not inserted.
b) Ensure that the hydraulic lines of the twister are not
damaged by coupling.
c) Hitch up the twister carefully and at low speed (3). Stop five
centimetres from the quick-release coupling of the twister.
d) Raise the quick-release lock by pressing down the handlebar
until the quick-release lock engages in the quick-release
coupling (2).
e) Switch off the main engine.
f) Fix the quick-release lever with the locking connector.
g) Fully retract the parking support (1) of the twister by turning
the handwheel.
