5 Working with the attachment
5.1 Safety during operation
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Safe work during the operation of the attachment!
All work must be carried out in compliance with the
safety information listed below:

Comply with the provisions listed in the chapter
Safety for all work on/with the attachment.

Also observe the information in the operating
instructions of the main engine.
4 Do not work in any manner that could potentially be
unsafe.
4 Always carry out the work in accordance with the
provisions in these operating instructions.
4 Do not use the attachment unless the safety
equipment is installed.
4 Comply with the relevant national regulations
concerning occupational safety and the locally
applicable safety regulations.

Wear the prescribed personal protective equipment.
Qualification of the
personnel
The attachment is only permitted to be operated by persons who
– are authorised to do so on the basis of their training and
qualification.
– are instructed to do so by the operator of the attachment.
5.2 Switching the machine on and off
NOTE
There are no operating elements on the attachment
itself for switching the entire machine on and off.
Observe the information in the operating instructions
of the main engine regarding the operation of the
entire machine.
