Flung-out stones or plastic tines
Danger from stones or plastic tines being flung out!
Small stones can be whirled up and parts of the plastic tines can
be flung out due to the rotation of the pick-up roller.
– Make sure that no one is in front of the attachment.
– Wear protective goggles.
Automatic movements
Risk of injury from automatic movements of the attachment!
Setting down the attachment improperly can result in life-
threatening conditions.
– Only move the attachment manually if it is on flat terrain.
– Before setting off using the machine, make sure that it is
properly connected.
– Never set down the attachment on a slope.
– The attachment must be set down on flat terrain only.
Weather conditions
Risk of fatal injury from lack of adaptation to the weather!
Bad weather conditions decrease the visibility and the grip. This
can lead to serious accidents and injuries or even death.
– Wear non-slip safety footwear.
– Make sure that the personal protective equipment is adapted
to the weather and the conditions (protection from heat/
cold, climbing irons for shoes, etc.).
– In the event of sudden changes to the weather conditions
(approaching rain, storm etc.), stop operation and find a
sheltered area.
– Do not resume work until the weather conditions are no
longer a threat.
– Never work in poor weather and visibility conditions.
